She published the results and her paper continues to receive numerous citations in current research. She is included on The General Dental Council’s Specialist List for Periodontics. In 2011 she undertook formal training in dental implants at The Eastman Dental Hospital in London, leading to a Certificate in Dental Implants.
Despite her exemplary professional career, Denise has found time to be a devoted wife to her husband, David and a loving mother to her two daughters, Isobel and Madeleine. She is a keen runner and has completed a number of 10km races. She loves to ski and this is an activity enjoyed by her whole family, with her daughters terrorising the slopes from three years of age!
